in a heavy bottom Pan add sugar and milk and make a sugar syrup of single thread consistency
Now on a low flame add milk powder and cook for few minutes stiring it continuously
No add gram flour and mix it nicely and cook for 2 minutes until all lumps are dissolved
Now pour in half cup clarified butter little by little (try to use hot clarified butter )and continue to stir it
the mixture will be little Bubbly, slowly the gram flour will absorb all the clarified butter. Now again add the 1/4 cup clarified butter and continue to stir it till most of it is absorbed.
After 10 to 15 minutes it will start leaving the sides of the pan. It will be Golden in colour now, at this stage add in the colour and mix nicely
put the mixture in a greased metal pan on a parchment paper and let it come to room temperature. (you can add almonds if you like)
cut in desired shape and serve.
